Area of study: Project Management
Hypothesis: Implementing a task calendar doubles productivity for remote work in the game development industry

Bold statement: A detailed calendar with planned personal and work tasks results in a 100% employee satisfaction of work-life balance and improves task productivity.
results: Tracked by questionnaire and aggregated data
Discussion: With the comfort of working from home and the ability to be more productive society is presented with new challenges. With a calendar tool that integrates with project management software like Jira or Monday, we are able to understand in production accurate timelines when working outside the normal 9-5. Work-life balance is something many companies rave about but is it true? So long as the work expected is completed on time, could an employee be transparent when they are working on something? My claim is that if employees or contractors have a more useful and planned calendar we could have happier employees with more productive productions.

The idea would be that an employee can block time in the day/week when and how they can be reached. Then they are able to block out time when they are working on what task and block out time when they have something else. On the employee side of things they can block time for dropping the kids off at school, going to the post office, or even the doctor without making their life tasks details visible to others the time will appear blocked out.
